A group based in Yorkshire that helps local start-ups to build and grow has launched a new support service to provide further assistance to them in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For Entrepreneurs Only (FEO) is a group made up of people from a range of business sectors, and its latest brainchild is being called FEOignition. This initiative is intended to support start-up ventures across Yorkshire to achieve sustainable success in what is likely to be a challenging economic climate following the coronavirus crisis and lockdowns.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, FEO Chief Executive Jan Brumby stated that:

“FEOignition is designed and delivered by a group of real life entrepreneurs who know exactly how it feels to start a business and who want you to succeed in your new venture.”

Brumby went on to say that the new service would be available at no cost to people starting a business and it would allow them to access the knowledge and experience provided by the owners of established firms. When it comes to financial matters, an accountant for small business in Doncaster or another part of Yorkshire would be able to provide further valuable expertise.

Among those who will be involved with FEOignition is Sally Wray, who runs the GoHire tool hire company and is already a member of FEO. Brumby stated that Yorkshire is a region with a passion for small businesses, and that FEO knew how crucial they were to the economy and it was determined to make sure they survived the COVID-19 crisis.
