A brand-new company that aims to provide assistance to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in securing financing to develop their businesses has just been launched.

This company is called FlexABL and the founders are Kirsty Ibbotson and Paul Stokes. The plan behind it is to supply funding to SMEs that they can use to improve their cash flow situations, or invest in expanding their operations. The two founders of the company have over three decades worth of experience in the realm of business financing and have based their new venture out of offices in Warwick.

Accountants in Goole or wherever they live can help the owners of SMEs put together solid financial plans that will persuade potential investors like this to take a chance on them.

Speaking to Insider Media about the decision to start this new company, Stokes pointed out that a number of the large banks and other commercial investors were increasingly unwilling to lend to smaller firms, which was making it harder for them to realise their potential. He then went on to add:

“Businesses have received commendable government support over the past year, but they now need further funding to help them thrive in the long-term, which is where FlexABL can play a vital role in providing that launch pad for future growth.”

He concluded by stating that he felt excited at the thought of what he and his partner could do to assist smaller firms in recovering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
